The German manufacturer of woodworking machines plans to display its strength through the launch of 28 machines at the forthcoming Ligna+Hannover 2005

Some of the major tool manufacturers associated with Powermat will also be present at the Weinig stand. "The companies already have the new tool standard PowerLock in their programme and are Weinig's close partners," says a company spokesman. Weinig has also broken into new territory with the Conturex, a profiling centre for the complete processing of complex solid wood parts. "It is a unique profiling, milling, shaping and drilling centre for workpieces, in one operation. This is a revolutionary technology, which will fundamentally change production philosophy," he says
