Information is power, a term information professionals know well, and now Factiva is providing sales and marketing teams with their very own power information tool.
Factiva has recognised that information professionals do not always have the time to create market leads for sales teams. Instead, it has taken the core data of its Factiva.com service and applied an interface that answers the questions sales workers have directly.
The Factiva SalesWorks interface differs from the traditional Factiva service that information professionals will be familiar with. The front page has four search windows, allowing for searches on Factiva or by company, industry or executive.
Company information search results appear as a table, with the company name and industry as hyperlinks taking the users to either the details of the company, or to the industry snapshot.
