Jul. 21--It looks like two Montgomery neighborhoods will get to keep their grocery stores, and that's good news for shoppers such as Eveline Ford.

"I love to shop here," Ford said Wednesday as she loaded groceries into her car outside the Winn-Dixie at 2252 Mount Meigs Road.

Ford was unhappy when Winn-Dixie announced that the location was among the 326 stores the bankrupt grocery company is closing or selling. She didn't like the idea of losing a grocery store that's conveniently located near her home.

"I've been on this side of town ever since I've known myself," she said.
