Q: I installed an engineered flooring which is a glue system (PVA onto tongue). The end consumer complained about one of the staves in centre of room. I contacted my supplier who was willing to supply me with a pack to take out the offending plank and replace it with new one. I have not done this before, and the supplier will not offer to do this themselves. Is this right?
A: Your problem, in my view, could be down to on-site issues, in this case a split in stave. This may be the result of a drying fault.
