Aker Kvaerner to cease Pharmaceutical operations in Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA.

11 July 2005 - Aker Kvaerner Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has announced its decision to wind down operations at its Bridgewater, New Jersey office. The decision was made as a result of the market for engineering and construction services in the Pharmaceutical industry in the US over the last several years.

While the operations in Bridgewater have been unable to book additional contracts in the United States, the Aker Kvaerner group will continue to service other parts of the international pharmaceutical industry from the company's entities based in Europe.
