RAK Ceramics opens its ninth factory.

Ras Al Khaimah RAK Ceramics has opened of its ninth factory in the emirate at a cost of Dh180 million ($49 million) to join its operational system
The new factory, comprising three gres porcellanato (porcelain) ceramic production lines, is considered the most advanced in the world, with respect to the technology used, the machinery and the state-of-the-art equipment it incorporates
The new plant falls within the framework of RAK Ceramics' comprehensive expansion plan to meet the increasing international demand for the company's high-quality products
An in-house technical team, led company chief executive officer Khater Massaad, designed the new machinery. Massaad said the daily total production capacity of the new factory exceeded 35,000 sq m of high quality ceramics, in a variety of designs, shapes and sizes.
