Zamil Steel clinches Qatargas order.

Zamil Steel's Structural Steel Business Unit (SSBU) has been awarded a contract worth $10 million for Qatargas II development project
Zamil Steel Industries (ZSI) will fabricate and supply pipe-racks, shelters and equipment support structures, in addition to operating stages and miscellaneous steel for project. Delivery is expected to commence later this year
The deal came from Chiyoda-Technip, the Japanese-French construction consortium
"ZSI has been involved with Chiyoda and Technip on numerous projects before," says Ayman Kanaan, general manager, Zamil Steel SSBU. "The fact that this is a new order from past clients is testimony to our engineering and manufacturing capabilities in meeting the specifications and complying with our clients' stringent requirements."
