POLICE in Ballymena delivered a hammer blow and strong warning to drug dealers last year as officers netted illegal substances worth more than pounds 750,000 on the streets.
The annual report from borough police chief Terry Shevlin also revealed that in one operation alone, 350kg of cannabis, 5,000 ecstasy tablets and 10kg of amphetamines were seized.
