St Augustine Eregi Teachers College is preparing to welcome athletes for the 22nd annual inter-collegiate athletics championships from Wednesday.

The first arrivals were Central Zone. Rift Valley, Nairobi, Eastern and Coast Provinces were expected today.

The Kenya Teachers Colleges Sports Association chairman Samuel Too, who is also the principal of Mosoriot Teachers College, said the theme for this year's championship would be "reason above passion in a drug and other substances free environment."
