Turkey active in bid to support women in Middle East, North Africa.

Istanbul is to host a workshop on "Building Awareness of Women's Entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region" next week when 80 participants from the MENA region, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and other countries meet to discuss ways to help women to launch their own enterprises.
"Turkey has actively participated in the MENA initiative jointly launched by the OECD and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). It provided financial assistance in the amount of 75,000 euros in total for the good governance and investment legs of the initiative," the Foreign Ministry said …
