Terex Pegson has launched its latest product developments in the crushing segment - the innovative Premiertrak 1165 HR mobile crushing plant - at the recently-concluded Samoter 2005. The track-mounted crushing plant - suitable for processing hard rock, stone and secondary aggregate recycling applications - features Terex Pegson's newly-developed, high-production, hydraulically-adjustable M Series single toggle jaw with hydraulic release (HR), says a company spokesman. The new HR system is designed to alleviate problems associated with "instant stall" encountered when tramp metals enter the crushing process - particularly in the recycling and reclamation of construction and demolition waste. When an uncrushable object enters the jaw causing instant stall, the forces exerted on the whole mechanism - including the frame, shaft and bearings - can be extremely detrimental, both in terms of long-term damage and the inevitable downtime that is lost in alleviating the ...
