An innovative new floor lighting system that made its Middle East debut last month is expected to revolutionise the floor lighting market in the region, according to its Netherlands-based manufacturer

Eyeleds, the new 'flat' LED lighting system for flooring, made its Middle East debut at the recent 'Focus on the Floor' expo hosted by Armstrong Floor Products and Al Reyami Group in Dubai for regional specifiers, contractors and end-users

Developed by Lighting Partner in the Netherlands, Eyeleds are claimed to be unique because of their minimal recess depth, 10-year LED life span, negligible power consumption and the impressive assortment of styles and colours. "The patented flat LED system is the latest development in architectural and decorative indoor and outdoor lighting," says Ube Kodde, global sales manager, Eyeleds. "With flat cable installation, no expensive trunking is required, and the 12 V operating system can be installed in-situ with carpet, ceramic, stone, quartz and wood laminate flooring, and also in wall installations and plaster." The patented 'snap-in, snap-out' design also makes it suitable to temporary installations for use in exhibitions, events and displays.
