With a long list of impressive projects to its credit, Dubai-based Hepworth PME is looking forward to make its project portfolio even more impressive by embarking upon new projects - many in partnership with the Al Basti and Muktha Group (ABM). Alongside ABM, Hepworth has been involved in projects such as the Arabian Ranches, 32 villas at Al Barsha, Gold and Diamond Park Phase II, Dubai International Financial Centre, Emaar Properties' grand projects and the Al Bassam Tower (MEP work was done by Bilt Middle East). "We have a long-standing relationship of success and growth with ABM. We are looking forward to continue this partnership with the aim of jointly capitalising on the opportunities offered by the booming construction sector in the UAE," says a company spokesman. Established in Dubai nearly three decades ago and represented by a chain of branch offices throughout the UAE, Hepworth PME is a premier regional manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive range of high-quality plastic pipes, fittings and accessories used for the distribution and transmission of water, wastewater and gas. It meets the requirements of industry professionals from its substantial stockholding of products conforming to the various international standards

The company manufactures PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipes and supplies the biggest range of British manufactured pipes and fittings, required by the water and drainage industry in the Arabian Gulf

"Hepworth has spent two decades marketing and supplying uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) pipes and fittings from the UK before setting up its own manufacturing facility in Dubai. From its inception, the company has effectively combined the production of high-quality products with a dependable supply line and carved its own niche in the competitive UAE market," the spokesman points out. In 1991, Hepworth PME launched its Rashidiya (Dubai) manufacturing unit for the production of uPVC British standards quality Kitemark pipes - becoming the first company outside the UK to achieve the coveted certification. "The unique properties of uPVC make Hepworth Watermain piping systems an ideal choice where portable water or other liquids have to be transported under pressure. Watermain pipes have excellent chemical resistance properties, which render them suitable for use with aggressive liquids on in corrosive environmental conditions," he points out
