The United Nations Commission on Human Rights has, one hopes, just hastened its own demise. Shortly after Kofi Annan proposed to dissolve the body (once infamously chaired by Moammar Qaddafi's Libya, that human-rights stalwart), the 53-member commission, as usual, used its annual session as an opportunity to condemn Israel--at least three times more than any other country.
