Salvation Army stages canteens to assist hurricane victims.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. _ One of the first waves of Hurricane Dennis relief _ a fleet of Salvation Army mobile kitchens _ assembled here on Sunday.
Thirty self-contained Salvation Army canteens and field kitchens poured in from various parts of South, Central and North Florida. Another 30 canteens and kitchens from Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi also were assembling in Jackson, Miss.
All 60 kitchens are expected to depart Monday morning for the Pensacola area, where they will provide meals for displaced residents and emergency workers. The Salvation Army, a faith-based aid organization, also provides financial, clothing, ...
