Jul. 8--PINELLAS PARK -- To anyone who's ever craved a pizza and a burrito, or a jelly doughnut with a double-dip cone: Take heart, many fast-food joints are now mini food courts.
In recent years, Dunkin' Donuts has begun sharing space with its sister companies, Baskin-Robbins and Togo's sandwiches. And Pizza Hut often tag teams inside the same stores with KFC and Taco Bell.
Now, more multibranded fast-food meccas are on the way. Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin' Brands Inc. is planning dozens of new Dunkin' Donuts stores in the Tampa Bay area in coming years. As it grows, more than half of those stores will combine Dunkin' Donuts with either Baskin-Robbins, Togo's or both, said Ed Frechette, a marketing executive with Dunkin' Brands.
