Wuling aims to sell 700 more pickups.

Jul. 6--PVA Motors 2056 Ltd, the importer and distributor of Wuling mini pickup trucks, yesterday appointed new dealerships in Bangkok and upcountry in a bid to increase its sales by 700 units this year.
Wuling trucks from China started breaking into the Thai market three years ago with slightly more than 300 units already sold.
"Sales were quite low in the first year of entering the Thai market because the customers questioned the durability and quality of Chinese-made products and worry about the after-sales service and availability of spare parts," said managing director Rom Jaturongpanya.
