Jul. 4--Thailand should put more effort into pushing exports and not just be satisfied with the forecast of just 16 percent growth in one of the key engines driving the country's economy, says Suvit Maesincee, the vice-minister of Commerce.
"At the beginning of the year, Finance Minister Somkid Jatusripitak set a goal of export expansion of 20 percent with revenue of $117 billion, and there was no reason to settle for less now," said Mr Suvit.
