Senate Mulls Pay-For-Performance
A bill introduced by Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Max Baucus, D-Mont., proposes that doctors who share "quality" data would get full Medicare reimbursement for their services and, if they meet certain standards, bonuses. Doctors who don't would see their payments cut by 2%.
