Concur Technologies is building the right side of a long base stretching back 8 1/2 months. The pattern undercut the previous base, making this a first-stage base.

The Redmond, Wash.-based company automates expense reporting and provides fraud-detection tools to help companies comply with Sarbanes-Oxley accounting regulations.

Concur struggled several years, but started posting earnings the last two fiscal years. In the most recent quarter, earnings per share grew to 4 cents from 1 cent. Sales growth reached 31%, capping four periods of accelerating improvement.
