Portland leads travel traffic jams
The biggest bottleneck during the holiday weekend is likely to be outside the Oregon city, the American Highway Users Alliance said. Coming in second: Interstate 64 in Virginia's Tidewater region. Rounding out the top 10 are the Maryland-Delaware shore; Branson, Mo.; North Carolina's Outer Banks; Cape Cod; the Jersey Shore; Napa Valley, Calif.; Pennsylvania Amish country; and the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. 33.9 mil people are likely to travel by car during this weekend, said AAA.
