Diebold cuts jobs, Q2 outlook

The ATM and electronic voting machine maker fell 11% to 45.11, its lowest since Oct. '04, after it steered its Q2 forecast below views of 64 cents to 54-57 cents ex items. It also said it would cut 300 jobs, or 2% of its work force. Rival ATM maker NCR slipped 3.5% to 35.12.

** CNet is shopping for a buyer, according to published reports, and has held talks with Viacom and IAC/InterActive. Shares rose 10.5% to 11.74.
