'Market' spot wins Aerial for Barclays.(Brief Article)

The Bartle Bogle Hegarty creative team of Brad Woolf and Dan Bailey has won the June Aerial Award for best radio ad.

The team's 'market' spot for Barclays was judged to be the best radio commercial of the month by the Aerials judge Clive Pickering, a creative partner at TBWA\London. Pickering praised Woolf and Bailey for managing to make an insurance commercial interesting and for the strong strategy behind it.

He said: 'Instead of talking about the savings that each individual could make by switching to Barclays, the ad is based on the saving Britons as a group could make - a billion pounds, apparently.'
