The optometric retailer Dollond & Aitchison has handed Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners its pounds 4 million account without a pitch.

The account has been without an agency since it split from DFGW last year. Its most famous advertising was created by Lowe and starred Burt Reynolds.

DLKW was appointed by D&A's marketing director, Alison Portes. The brief is to help the brand modernise and grow its share against the market leader, Specsavers. A possible move into TV advertising is being debated.
