The Days Inn Rocky Point will leave the Bank of America's real estate-owned junkyard in January, when two local hoteliers buy the 30-year-old hotel on the Courtney Campbell Parkway.
The 152-room waterfront hotel will then undergo a major renovation that is expected to cost upward of $750,000, says Dilip Kanji, who has a contract to purchase the hotel for an undisclosed amount. His partner is fellow hotelier Anil Valbh. The sale is scheduled to be finalized Jan. 14.
