Jun. 26--Newton-Conover schools will offer a new program this year for students interested in health care and life sciences.
The Newton-Conover School of Health Science, to be housed on the main Newton-Conover High School campus, will serve students interested in health- and science-related work such as medicine and biotechnology.
The school is part of a statewide high school reform initiative, Gov. Mike Easley said last week.
