The one-day event will look at the emerging technologies affecting information management, with a particular focus on search and the ramifications of Google's entry into the library market. The event is being held at Cilip's headquarters near Goodge Street in London.

Intelligent Tools Data Mining, Visualisation

UK specialist event organiser Infonortics has created a new two-day seminar for the growing subject of intelligent data tools. The keynote speech will be given by Ben Gilad, president of the US Academy of Competitive Intelligence. Despite the keen interest in intelligent data tools from the business, government, IT and military intelligence communities, Gilad describes their usage so far as being no more advanced than in the Middle Ages.
