The online engineering, mathematics and computing resource, EEVL, recently launched a brace of new search engines, which direct academic users to free e-journal content on the three subjects.
EEVL is part of the Resource Discovery Network of online resources for academics, students and researchers, funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC).
The site and content is selected by a team of information professionals at the Heriot-Watt University, with collaboration from Birmingham and Cranfield Universities.
EEVL has created specialist search engines for the three areas and an e-journal content search engine that covers all three. Together, they provide access to 250 free e-journals.
EEVL has secured access to a range of quality journals for its users, including: Advanced Manufacturing, British Audio Journal, CADinfo, Design News, Energy Matters, Industry Week, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, and Test and Measurement.
