Douglas W. Stotlar is moving quickly transform his $4 billion holding company for Con-Way Transportation Services and Menlo Worldwide into an operating organization.

Leading a series of senior-level moves, Stotlar named David S. McClimon, a 22-year Con-Way veteran, president of LTL giant Con-Way Transportation Services June 6, and Robert Bianco, who joined CNF in 1989, president of third-party logistics operator Menlo.

Stotlar named McClimon and Bianco senior vice presidents of CNF, as well.

Along with several executive promotions at Con-Way and Menlo, the appointments underscore CNF's search for greater ties between its operating companies.
