South Central Division.(Division News)(Brief Article)
The SouthCentral Division had an excellent meeting at the National Conference Division Certification Chair Debra Hadfield. NCTM, reported fourteen newly certified members from the division. Oklahoma MTA reported the deathe of its 2005 Distinguished Teacher, Jan Steele NCTM.
Division donations to me MTNA FOUNDATION FUND'S State Pride drawing included Arkansas MTA's signed and numbered print Water Lily and Pads, by Charles Fogle, artist and husband of Arkansas MTA member Barbara Fogle; Oklahoma MTA's piano music from various Oklahoma composers: Texas MTA's set of William Gillock's music and CDs; and Cajun and Creole food products from Louisiana MTA.
