Sara Renaud receives Studio Fellowship Award.(National Association News)(Brief Article)
Sara Renaud, NCTM, of Columbia, Missouri, is the recipient of the MTNA Studio Fellowship Award. The award, in the amount of $3,000, is made possible by the MTNA FOUNDATION FUND.
Renaud holds a master of music degree in piano pedagogy from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She also received a bachelor of arts degree from Luther College, double majoring in math and music and graduating magna cure laude.
"I believe that the Studio Fellowship is one of the FOUNDATION'S most important projects," says MTNA Past President Joan M. Reist, NCTM. "This year's recipient (Sara Renaud) is a perfect example of the type of teacher who represents the next generation of IMTs, and in one who will uphold MTNA's high standards."
