Jun. 19--Zyng has excellent coat hooks. This is a design element often overlooked in California, where coats don't loom large in our everyday lives, but any restaurant specializing in soupy noodles is wise to invest in coat hooks. Otherwise, patrons may face dry-cleaning bills that they associate with your business.
A casual Asian "grill," Zyng is like a Panda Express with table service. The small chain with big plans reopened downtown San Jose's Twohy Building in April with a Greatest American-style Hits menu from Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese and Singaporean cuisines.
