Wynn Las Vegas starts strong
Wynn Resorts said that revenue for its $2.7 bil resort has beat expectations, but stressed that it'll be several months before "operating efficiencies will emerge." The casino took in $63.4 mil in net gaming revenue, with $20.2 mil from slots and $42.7 mil from table games, while its gross non-gaming revenue was $76.6 mil. The average daily room rate was $308, and the hotel averaged 91% occupancy. Shares rose 7% to 53.40.

U.S.-EU seen settling aircraft suit
Despite trading increasingly harsh rhetoric, the two sides are expected to negotiate a deal to curb subsidies for aircraft makers rather than risk losing an WTO ruling.
