Jun. 3--HANOI -- Thai businesses should expand their trade and investment activities with Vietnam to maintain the country's share in the growing Vietnamese market and tap the incentives available while they last, according to the Thai Trade Office.
The "bad old days" perception among Thai businessmen a decade ago has now gone and Vietnam now is more sophisticated and well equipped in terms of standardised laws and regulations, according to Somkiat Saranapanichkul, director of the office of Commercial Affairs in Hanoi.
Vietnam also had political stability and expatriates could enjoy their daily lives safely, he said.
