Jun. 3--The Bank of Thailand currently has 39 lawsuits worth 53.3 billion baht pending against executives of local financial institutions, according to Weerachat Sribunma, director of the central bank's Litigation Department.
Three cases are still under police investigation, including two involving former executives of the defunct First Bangkok City Bank and another dealing with an illegal credit foncier.
