I have read articles on jackplates, props, weight distribution, pitch and height, but I'm still confused about how to determine what is best. Then I read an article about the formula to compute the expected speed of a rig. If the wrestling coach hadn't been my math teacher, I would have failed. I was hoping that if I gave you the information, you would be able to tell me what the top expected speed would be for my rig.

HERE'S THE INFORMATION:

* 1992 Pro-V Gary Roach 1890 Lund with a 32-gallon tank

* 1992 85 hp Evinrude Backtroller

* 1991 9.9 Merc kicker

* 2 trolling motors (bow and stern)

* 3 batteries
