Jun. 1--The former Coffee Trader building on Milwaukee's east side is being sold to a development firm that plans to make renovations and attract new retailers.

Lighthouse Development Co. has agreed to buy the 9,650-square-foot building, 2625 N. Downer Ave., from real estate investors Daniel Katz, John Crichton and Thomas Hauck for an undisclosed price. The sale is to be final within a few weeks, according to Brett Grasse, Lighthouse's owner.
