Jun. 1--Thai Optical plans to float 6.8 million shares in an initial public offering in the third quarter to raise 250 million baht for business expansion.
The company yesterday appointed Acap Advisory as its financial adviser and Finansa Securities as lead underwriter for the offering.
Dr Sawang Pracharktam, the executive director of the Thai Optical Group, said the company was awaiting approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission for the offering, but expected the issue to take place early in the third quarter.
