May 30--Brenda Sellers' job as human resources manager for Piknik Products meant a lot of hiring to keep up with the company's growth. Piknik Products is a success story among area businesses. The company, which has more than 300 employees, runs two plants in Montgomery -- one on Day Street, the other on Alatex Road -- and another on Main Street in Brundidge. Piknik began in 1923 with Piknik-brand mayonnaise. Over the years, the company became a contract manufacturer, producing condiments, dressings, sauces and noncarbonated beverages that are distributed under other companies' labels.
