PALMETTO -- One teenager died and a second child was in critical condition after a truck apparently involved in a road- rage incident raced through a red light and crashed into the car they were riding in Friday night.

Deputies with the Florida Highway Patrol were looking for information about a third vehicle that apparently chased the truck north on U.S. 41, leading to the deadly crash.

Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Doug Dodson said the children were in a white Ford four-door car headed east on 69th Street in north Palmetto when the truck came speeding north on U.S. 41 shortly before 7 p.m. …
