Charlotte Players season ends with 1,000 giggles

The Charlotte Players close the 2004-05 season with Herb Gardner's Broadway hit "A Thousand Clowns" tonight, Saturday and Sunday at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center, 701 Carmalita St., Punta Gorda. The story follows New York City local Murray, a comedy writer for children's show "Chuckles the Chipmunk." At one point, Murray decides he's had enough chuckles to last a lifetime and quits his job.
