Tate baseball coach Greg Blackmon has seen plenty in his eight-year stint coaching his alma mater.

In those eight seasons, his team has reached the final four five times.

But in a recent conversation with former infield teammate Travis Fryman, who went on to have major league success with the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians, the pair agreed that the Aggies' (26-2) 3-2 regional win over Crestview was one of the best they've seen.

It was a pitchers' duel, with Crestview's left-handed starter throwing 88 mph, matched by Tate right-hander David Doss, who threw a one-hitter.
