Ultrasound is a useful means of follow-up of growth and remission in cases of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS), German researchers write.

Johannes R. Bogner and colleagues from the University of Munich and the Institute for Pathology, Munich, Germany, evaluated the use of ultrasound for the measurement of tumor volume in six consecutive patients with advanced AIDS and KS, selected from a larger sample participating in a Phase I/II open trial of liposomal doxorubicin.
