According to information left out of a recent gender-equity report, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a lower percentage of female faculty than all but one of the 10 universities to which it compares itself.
NU Provost Jay Noren, who oversaw data analysis for the report, said that the omission was not intentionally misleading. "We weren't hiding anything," he said.
