A federal judge in Denver dismissed two lawsuits against the University of Colorado that started the football recruiting sex scandal on the Boulder campus. The lawsuits claimed that the school created a hostile environment for women that led to two women being sexually assaulted at a football-recruiting party in 2002.
While the dismissal of the suits by Judge Robert Blackburn can be construed as a loss, the university taking steps to clean up the problem as a result of the lawsuits is a major achievement.
