May 20--America's military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan figure heavily in yet another success story for Oshkosh Truck Corp., industry analysts say.

The company announced Thursday that its Pierce Manufacturing subsidiary will invest $18.5 million in expansion projects at its two major Fox Cities area plants, which employ 1,550.

Work on the projects in the Town of Menasha and Grand Chute will start this fall and be completed early next year. The expansions are not expected to create any new jobs.

The Pierce expansion is the latest good news for Oshkosh Truck, a manufacturer of truck bodies for defense, fire and emergency …
