May 9--The current scandal over alleged state corruption in the procurement of X-ray machines at Suvarnabhumi airport has raised questions among foreign investors about the country's commitment to improved governance.

Local analysts say investor concerns would be eased if the government moves quickly to investigate and prosecute the details of the case.
