May 6--The government has shelved plans to convert telecommunications concessions and says no changes should be made in the agreements until they expire.
Converting concessions in the current business environment was unnecessary and would be difficult because the varying conditions for each, said an assistant to Suvit Khunkitti, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) minister.
