May 6--RAHWAY -- A Rahway High School Spanish teacher has forfeited her job and teaching license in pleading guilty yesterday to second-degree sexual assault of a 17-year-old male student.
Christina Gallagher, 25, of Jersey City pleaded guilty yesterday before Superior Court Judge John Triarsi, sitting in Elizabeth, said Assistant Prosecutor Lisa McFadden.
As part of the plea, Gallagher, who had been suspended with pay from her teaching job in Rahway, told the judge she and a 17-year-old male student committed acts of sexual penetration between December and January. Gallagher was in her third year teaching in the ...
