Whopping cranes arrive in Miami.

Two teal and white super-post Panamax container cranes, custom built by Zhenhua Port Machinery Company in Shanghai, China arrived on the flood tide Jan.5 at the Port of Miami.The two identical cranes were ordered built to the specifications of Ed Bello and the Port of Miami Crane Management Co. last year. Bello, the head of Crane Management supervised construction and quality control.Charles Towsley, director of the Port of Miami said the cranes are the largest in the world in terms of their size and lift capacity."They are the biggest gantries in the world," Towsley said.
